Your individual blog should be a comprehensive and
creative demonstration of your research and planning skills. You can separate
this in different blog posts in any way you choose, however I would make sure I
have included all the posts in the
checklist at the back of your book and on the blog .
For each
post I would make sure to add multimedia
technologies (eg embedded clips, pictures, links, Prezzi, Scribd, Wordle etc)
I would also make sure I used Social Media e.g
Facebook, Instagram, Vine. Like all social media sites, the more active you are
the better – subscribe to other people’s channels, add friends and comment on
other videos. RECORD ALL FEEDBACK ON YOUR BLOG.
You will be marked on:
·
Your research into videos
·
Your organisational skills (locations,
actors, costumes etc)
·
Your shot lists, scripts and storyboards
Your communication skills
Your blog
posts should discuss some of the following in every post!
·
Genre,
·
Narrative
·
Representation
·
Audience
·
Mise
en scene
Remember you are looking to evidence
your understanding of the codes
and conventions of the production you have chosen.
Your first post should be an introduction, stating
who you are and why you have set up the blog.
For your second post explain what
brief you have chosen
